ATS has been responsible for the dismantling of many notorious rhino poaching syndicates, with an accumulated over 192 years in prison sentencing from cases in the SVC.

ATS has cultivated a very strong intelligence network within the communities, this has contributed to at least 80% of anti-poaching successes.

While the primary focus is rhino security, the ranger presence on the ground has a 

natural impact on the illegal meat poaching trade.  

The K9 unit is active everyday on detection and training, picking up snare lines and monitoring fences and boundaries. 

ATS is regarded as having created one of the most result driven Malinois canine units in Southern Africa.  

In 4 years alone, there have been 29 rhino poachers apprehended by the team. 

The ecologist team has pioneered a rhino  monitor system that we use as a foundation of the guardianship of rhino for ZimParks.  

Ranger principals underpin all the anti-poaching work we do. From community projects to being present at the clinics, the heart of the organisation is the ranger.
